In this lab we focus on Sequence Diagrams an object design artifact type of designing interaction diagrams.

Objectives

At the end of this lab students will be able to:

Perform object design using sequence diagrams
Apply software engineering principles while doing object design
Draw Sequence Diagram in a CASE tool
Implement it in JAVA for their semester project
Follow collaborative learning by reviewing the above tasks for his classfellows.

1. Pass yourself against Interaction Diagrams

2. Pass yourself against Interaction Diagrams Notations

Lab Tasks for All, By Mukhtiar Zamin

You should be able to complete the following steps in the lab.

Step-1 - Understand existing examples

Draw one SD of "Process Sale" use case from POST case study in the text book in CASE Tool
Add Note symbol for where GRASP principle was applied in above object designl

Step-2 - Sequence diagrams for two Operation Contract

Sketch SDs for two of your operaction contracts in any assigned use case from your semester project
Apply GRASP principle where necessary
Draw SDs into CASE tool
Implement them in the JAVA project of your semester project.

Sequence Diagrams Evaluation

To earn PASS status, system is about to evaluate you using multiple choice questions (MCQs) and True/False type questions.

CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS!
Make sure you have learned this lecture along with its topics and tutorials.
On first evaluation you get 100% marks on correct answer, then on 2nd you get 95% marks and so on.
Answer the questions with a gap NOT MORE THAN A MINUTE, Otherwise it will re-start.
