Lecture 22 Running the Code Example

This lecture covers how to run the code example on your PC

To run the code example on your machine follow these steps: 

  1. You should have a JDK 1.8+ installed on your PC if not already then installed it 
  2. Install NetBean if not already setup form https://netbeans.org/downloads/6.1/index.html 
  3. Download and install Microsoft SQL Server (Express edition) DBMS from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sql-server/sql-server-downloads 
  4. If SQL Server Management studio is not install by default within previous step then download and install from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/download-sql-server-management-studio-ssms?view=sql-server-ver15 
  5. Download the zip file 

  6. Which contains 
    1. Interaction diagram project created in StarUML  
    2. SQL DB Script, That you can run in your SQL Server Management Studio Complete Project of Netbeans as presented in the previous lecture 
    3. Make sure to set SQL Server settings by opening "SQL Server Configuration Manager" run "SQL Server Browser" Set "SQL Server Network Configuration" by enabling TCP/IP

Lecture 22 Running the Code Example Evaluation

To earn PASS status, system is about to evaluate you using multiple choice questions (MCQs) and True/False type questions.

  • Make sure you have learned this lecture along with its topics and tutorials.
  • On first evaluation you get 100% marks on correct answer, then on 2nd you get 95% marks and so on.
  • Answer the questions with a gap NOT MORE THAN A MINUTE, Otherwise it will re-start.
